My husband and I would highly recommend a stay at Morningstar. It is a beautiful, old home ...quiet and safe also. This B& B is managed by a lovely couple who has spent much time in maintaining this great property. They have won an award from the town for their wonderful renovation project. Also, I can honestly say that their... More

Just loved this place! The inn is a handsomely restored, century-old mansion that's tastefully and comfortably decorated (not cluttered with dust-catcher knicknacks). This is a B&B for "grown-ups" with a wonderfully welcoming pair of owner/hosts, Virginia and Tim. Every single detail is well considered, and the breakfasts are as irresistable as they are abundant (and, wonder of wonders, there are... More

The Morningstar was a great place to spend our anniversary. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night. The Inn was huge, updated and beautiful. The innkeepers Virginia and Tim were very welcoming, extremely down to earth and excellent hosts. We stayed in the "GQ" room and we loved it. Roomy, comfy bed and super nice, very clean... More

I can only echo what others have already said. Really nice inn - large house with a lot of common area space on the first floor to relax. Our room, Sleigh Ride, was nicely decorated and was comfortable. Big house but only a handful of guest rooms, so you aren't just an anonymous guest as some larger inns can feel.... More

I love the Morningstar! We've stayed there for four nights each of the past three years during MusikFest. The inn itself is beautiful and the location is perfect...walking distance to downtown and all the festival platzes (including the new Steel Stacks venue, if you're up for a bit of a longer walk. My fiance has bad knees, but it was... More

My wife and I were recently invited to a family party in Bethlehem that I knew would run late into the evening so I thought about grabbing a hotel room in the area. Being that she recently celebrated a birthday I thought to myself, "why not treat her to a bed and breakfast sort of thing?" Since we have never... More

Just want to say a belated thank you to Virginia and Tim for being such gracious hosts. Bonnie and I had a wonderful 2 nights stay August 1st-2nd 2011. The both of you made us feel at home, and the Inn was as advertised. We loved the GQ room, and will be returning in the fall. Your stylish decor and... More

The inn is beautiful! The innkeepers are gracious hosts. The inn has an old world charm, with modern amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Thanks to Tim and Virginia, for a wonderful stay and directing us to a delicious dining experience. More

I stayed at the Morningstar Inn for one work week in June. The room was clean and quiet. The breakfast includes a full meal and more! The freshly squeezed juices were a real treat as were the pastries. The wine and beer in the evenings were also a nice addition. Virginia and Tim are excellent hosts that went above and... More

Fabulous ambience, comfort, and a true sense of being at home in this warm, historical home that serves as Lehigh Valley's award winning bed and breakfast conveniently located 10 minutes away from the major airport, mall, and highway in the Allentown-Bethlehem, PA corridor. I have stayed there about 7 times in as many years, the most recent being the best.... More
