Stayed at the Mammoth Mountain Inn two nights following 27" of fresh snow and had a fantastic time. From the moment we got there until we left, everyone was helpful. The front desk staff were especially attentive. We needed a refrigerator, but hadn't requested one. They made one available the next morning. We arrived around 11:00 PM and the cheerful... More

We got a great deal on this property for a recent trip to celebrate my birthday. The room and view were terrific and the service was excellent. Cakes and hot chocolate for when you're done skiing and a ski valet for your skis and boots. Despite the lack of snow, the resort was still very skiable. More

Mammoth Mountain in is in an AWESOME location right on the slope. The staff was friendly. We upgraded to a deluxe room which was nice and clean, but with a very small bathroom. We got a pretty good deal which included breakfast. The breakfast was unbearably disgusting. Not many people were eating at the breakfast buffet and that meant that... More

The saving grace of this inn is its location. This is a dated facility with the only things that seem to be up graded are the TV's and the bedding. With few exceptions, staff does not seem to be tuned in to customer service. Stay in the main building. The other two buildings are converted employee dorms/apartments, with very small... More

I spend over 50 nights a year here and it is so worth being in this location. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The buildings are older but that is the charm of the place. Where else can you go and step out your door and have the best skiing and mountain biking I have ever experienced. It is... More

If you book the promo, you will get a room that has decent bedding and overall nice features. The employees don't seem to have any hotel industry training, so don't expect major service, which is fine in a mountain town, but they were rude and not that cool, the front desk chick was eating cereal and the store chick was... I don't know why some people complained, I spent 4 nights in a 5 day sking trip this winter (jan 2012) and found the hotel very good. It has nice warm rooms, friendly and servicial staff, and the ski gear valet is very useful and confortable. The hotel is away form town but it's in front of the lifts and... More

I booked three nights at the Mammoth Mountain Inn on the basis of a promotional $99 midweek rate. In the last screen before you actually book the room there is a small check box acknowledging a $20 per night "resort fee." I went ahead an booked, thinking I would still be getting a relative bargain. I wish I had gone... More

We were on honeymoon and our travel agency booked this hotel for us. It is on top of the mountain, quite far from the city and in the middle of nowhere so it might be nice in winter as it is in front of the lifts but in summer you really feel far away from everything. But this, alone, would... More

Due to the lack of snow we were able to cut across to Mammoth from Yosemite. We left the Tenaya since Badger was closed to have some fun on the groomers. I made the reservation packed up the car and headed off. Arriving in Mammoth it was very nice to pull up to a guard booth and have reserved parking... More
