We stayed 2 nights, in cabin 6. This cabin is close to the main building, it's just a one-bedroom cabin with a decent-sized kitchen, and a tiny bathroom (but with a big shower stall). The cabin was great - it had a full kitchen, dining table, fireplace, and 2 beds/baths. Beautiful setting, hiking from the lodge, and just a short drive to many restaurants. The lodge restaurant was great too! We'll definately be back. more

We have stayed at Tamarack once and sometimes twice a year for over 40 years. The resort has evolved through the years with improvements to make your stay comfortable, but the rustic feel remains. Tamarack Lodge Resort is a nice place situated on a hillside in a beautiful setting across the street from Twin Lakes in the Mammoth Lakes basin.
