The warm hospitality, beautiful room and full breakfast are for everyone - not just climbers. And did I mention the amazing view of the tower outside my bedroom window? Being a solo traveler can sometimes be awkward, but not with an extraordinary welcoming host like Frank Sanders. I am an innkeeper who loves to stay at local B&Bs whenever I... more

I have to admit that I didn't stay in a room, as I have a small RV, but Frank let me plug my RV in next to one of the buildings and invited me in for dinner. He took me climbing, and although I'm only a fair climber, we were able to summit the Tower. I enjoyed the use of... more

Devils Tower is a unique place. So why should the Devils Tower Lodge to commonplace. The setting is remote. A map would tell you that. The lodge is a little oasis warmth and hospitality amid its isolation. Some, like me, went there to climb. I would have been OK in a tent. But then, I would have missed the opportunity... more

Frank Sanders has a pretty good thing going at Devil's Tower Lodge. Clean, nicely decorated rooms; good, wholesome food served family style; live entertainment (if he is not too tired from climbing to play the piano). Oh, and did I mention that absolutely killer view from the living room window of the Big Rock? Frank runs a first rate B&B.... more

Possibly one of the friendliest spots we've ever stayed, Frank Sanders and his staff provided our family of four with a big friendly welcome after our very long day of travel. The two rooms we stayed in were very clean and comfortable. The views of the Tower from every room in the house were stunning. Breakfast was delicious. My two... more

It is difficult to say which is the greatest attraction the stunning views, with Devils Tower perfectly framed in the window, the relaxed atmosphere, which is more like staying with an old (and particularly tolerant) friend, or the star quality of your host, Frank, who is equally at home providing top-class climbing lessons (we did not climb, but while we... more

Devils Tower Lodge is a place unlike any other. When you walk in, you feel like you are in the home of your oldest friend. The staff are extremely friendly and unique people who will ensure you have an unforgettable and pleasant stay. The view is unbeatable (especially from the Jacuzzi tub!) and the land strips all the stress from... more

We stayed just one night in the lodge, in two rooms (we were 4: mum, dad and 2 children) and it's been a unique experience. We've hardly ever been in such a warm and comfortable place. It really seemed to be guests in somebody's home. The "windows room" has a gorgeous view over the Devil's tower from the bed, but... more

So, after getting lost trying to get there (the lodge is on a dirt, private access road which makes one unsure of where you're going with no signs until you're at the front gate), we finally arrived at 8:00pm at night. We had called ahead to tell them we were on our way and they told us our dinners (which... more
