Stayed in room 219. Music from the first floor bar could be heard through the floor and walls until almost midnight. Housekeeping staff in the hallways were loud at 8:30 a.m. Too bad if I wanted to sleep in on a weekend morning! Since this is a NEW airport area hotel I was surprised how much aircraft noise could be... more

After missing a connection, I was issued an airline voucher to stay overnight at this hotel. One never knows what pits these voucher-directed hotels might be, I’ve stayed in some scary places. However, the Aloft was a pleasant surprise! The bed was comfy, room and linens were spotless, internet, Bliss products were great, coffeemaker, magazines, rain head shower were nice... more

It's a 4 star simply for the affordable attempt at a modern hip hotel. My visit took place on a weekday. You'll notice the techno once you enter the lobby and it'll make you smile. You'll feel a bit silly because you hate techno but hey - at least it won't be playing in your room. You'll notice the Ikea... more

Absolute ghetto club scene in the lobby at night. Club goers hanging out in the hallways, loitering, sitting on the floor. A group actually had to move so I could get into my room! What the hell kind of hotel are they trying to be? I see why they stress locking the dead bolt when in the room... more

We stayed here on a Friday night and when we walked through the lobby entrance it felt like walking into a night club. Lots of people, some of whom were somewhat scantily dressed. Music was extremely loud, and it was just not what we were looking for. I feared that the noise and patrons would spill into the hotels corridors,... more

We stayed at this hotel when we missed our connecting flight. We chose the hotel using the airport phone and did not know what to expect. Unfortunately, the hotel shares a shuttle with two other hotels and only runs twice an hour, so on the way to the hotel from the airport, the shuttle was packed full of people and... more

We stayed here on a trip to see The Dead in Philadelphia. Too bad I was sick and spent most of my time in bed. This was the first time we stayed in an aloft hotel. Very Eurostylish! Almost to the point of being too cool. The bed was just right, and the flat screen hi-def TV (which was built... more

I got this hotel on Priceline for $50 so I am happy with the price. We had an early morning flight from Philadelphia so we decided to stay at the airport. We arrived about 8:00 pm and as other reviewers stated, there was loud hiphop music inside the "lobby" (really just an open space with a round kiosk to check-in),... more

My husband and 3 children stayed here in order to pick up a new puppy we had purchased. We chose this hotel because they had a GREAT pet program. The room is in the style of a Loft, I don't understand why people keep thinking it is small. Please look up what a Loft is before you book. We felt... more

I stayed at this hotel when I arrived into Philly late on a Weds evening in April 2009. I chose to stay at the aloft because I've heard that they're a cool new brand under the Starwood family and I wanted to give it a shot. I thought the room was very practical and utilitarian, without frills. I liked the... more
