The building is GORGEOUS. I really liked this hotel. It was in a great location. The pool/hot tub was great. I used priceline and got the room for $80+ tax, and the hotel ended up being a steal for that price. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other people, and I would probably pay more than what I paid... more

The hotel is housed in a preserved historic building located right in the heart of Philly's downtown area, close to the subway station. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, the staff helpful and considerate, and the rooms flawlessly neat -- we couldn't ask for more for the price that we paid, less than $100 a night. Special mention for the valet... more

Recommend to anyone. Staff is top notch! Location is awesome. Cannot get lost looking for hotel. Don't know if I should recommend highly because the next time I want to stay there, there won't be room. Change my mind, stay somewhere else. more

The hotel was awesome. The rooms were huge and we had two connecting. It was really beautiful. We had a view of the city from our room, and it was fun to watch the people go by. more

Building recycling at its best: the building is the ex-City Hall Annex, and it's hard to get more central than that--a block from Reading Market, easy stroll to Ben Franklin Parkway institutions. The rooms, security etc. are up to the latest standards. The major negative is the expensive parking, but even here there is a solution for weekend visitors: the... more

My grandma, my mother and myself stayed at this hotel over Columbus Day weekend. It was our first time in Phila and the location was perfect for that. Right in front of the gorgeous City Hall, we couldn't have asked for a more central place. It was just 15 minutes walking to the historic mall, 10 minutes to the theaters... more

I have always been comfortable (generally speaking) at Marriott's. However, I have often found that the Courtyard brand can often vary in quality. This location surely tops the high end. The hotel is in a great historic building right across from city hall. The lobby and guest rooms are well appointed. The hotel is conveniently located to mots Philly attractions.... more

My wife and I went to Philly for a wedding and stayed at the Courtyard Downtown on Juniper. Getting into the hotel from the airport was easy, we took the SEPTA train and got off at Suburban station that is only 2 blocks from the hotel. The staff was great and upgraded our room based on my Marriott status. The... more

This is the best place to stay in Center City. It really is the best location in the entire city. The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are great with some awesome views of City Hall. The Reading Terminal Market is around the corner so eating wasn't a problem. All the historical sites are within walking distance. The only... more

We arrived from LA at 9:45 AM. Prior to our arrival, I emailed the hotel to see if we might be able to check in early as we took a red eye the night before. I received a message from the general manager assuring us the would not be a problem. Sure enough, our room was ready on arrival. Front... more
