My sister and I stayed here for 4 nights during September/October. Our room was on the top floor and the most bothersome thing was hauling our luggage up and down the stairs. We stayed at La Reserve for two nights and booked a room in 1806 Pine, which was a bit more updated (so I heard). The rooms were terrific; clean, comfortable and with everything you need for a long term stay (dishes, glasses, etc.) I would unequivocally recommend on that basis. People who stay here should realize that there's no parking... more

Telephone reservations not friendly. Same person greeted us...still not friendly. Showed us our room that was warm. Has window A/C right next to the bed, cycles throughout the night, kept us awake. Bed sags in the middle. Wonderful bathroom and shower. Terrific towels. Full kitchen....all very clean. We walked into a new kitchenette, complete with oven/stove, full set of cutlery, pots, pans, glasses, basically anything you need to cook a meal but the food itself! The living room... more

I've now stayed in three different B&Bs in Philly's center city in the last two months, and La Reserve provided by far the best value. We were in the Saratoga suite, which was clean, had a fabulous new bathroom and a nice kitchen. It was very simple and comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B. more

La Reserve is a wonderful place to stay no matter what brings you to Philadelphia--perfect location, beautifully appointed public and private rooms, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The suites are really small apartments---extremely comfortable and well-stocked kitchen areas. This was the second stay for us, and we will always stay there when going to Philadelphia. more
