Ugh. That about sums it up. We had a one bedroom suite. Kitchen, living room, bath and bedroom with two queen beds. Sleeping: The mattresses were horrible, sank in the middle. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Windsor Suites. After discovering that this hotel was strickly non smoking, I asked at check in if my husband and I can have a room with a balcony. It was a $40 upgrade so we took it. Our family totally prefers to stay in suite style hotels and therefore were selecting between the Embassy Suites and Windsor when planning out April vacation/college visit to Philadelphia. Big room with kitchen. Everything was very clean. Beds were super comfortable. Service was friendly. Complimentary breakfast had waffles, bagels, cereal, juice and good coffee. Great location...about 10 minute walk to the Reading Market or to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. more

I selected Windsor Suites mostly on price and then location. I wasn't expecting too much, but when we got there we were quite surprised.
