The Parker Spruce hotel is a nice place tucked in the heart of Center City Philadelphia. The rates range from 37-115 dollars and is worth the money. The up side of this hotel is the rooms with cable and fresh air if you are lucky to get a room close to the street. The down side is sharing a bathroom... more

The rates are $45/night plus $5 per visitor. that policy shoud speak for itself. the sheets are stained, there are mirrors on the ceiling, and the furniture was probably used in 1978. Stay here only if you have to. It's a remnant of what was once a buslting red light district. I speak this as a native. more

I don't know where to even begin. This can NOT even be considered a hotel...The place is an absolute MESS. This is a place where people who have nowhere else to go must stay. Don't be fooled by the weekly rates, there are none. The staff are rude and uncooperative. There are mice in the rooms. All in all, this place is a pigsty. more
