Stayed here Apr 11 -14 and wasn't disappointed. Paid for an upgraded room and glad we did as it seemed to have the better views - the cheaper rooms appeared to look out over an alley. Having stayed at a Sofitel in Thailand - I was surprised that this Sofitel wasn't as grand and gorgeous. Don't get me wrong, it was a NICE hotel but not worthy of 5 diamonds or 5 stars. We chose this hotel for our yearly anniversary getaway after reading the reviews and checking out the website. I am AMAZED that NO WHERE does it mention that dogs roam the halls, elevators and rooms at their owners whims.
