i don't know if it is caused by the philly marathon. the rate of a single room is $199 which is too far expensive for comfort inn. though the hotel itself is not bad. more

No matter the $28.50 flat rate charged from the airport to this hotel (actually any downtown hotel). This one's very unremarkable and expensive to boot. When I walked in, the toilet seat was up and used. How lovely. The hotel was frayed pretty much everywhere. It's not very close to any dining areas, although you can get decent food several... more

The experience I had with the staff was a NIGHTMARE. I am absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service I received. If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. more

The hotel is absolutely disgusting. The rooms are so old and run down, i had to wear my socks all the time as was too afraid to touch the floor. After a shower I truly felt dirtier that before, it was a horrible experience and will advise anyone who is looking for accommodation that this hotel is and should not... more

We got a package deal from the gophila site, which included free parking which was great. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. We booked a "city view" but were put in a river view room which was great. I was a little concerned about noise after reading other people's reviews, but that wasn't an issue at all.... more

OK location, I enjoyed walking through Elfreth's Alley several times. Close to several restaurants. Walking distance to the historic area. Close to one subway station and several bus lines (one right in front), altho I believe SEPTA is on strike by now. The free shuttle van is pretty convenient and took me to the 30th St. Station even though their... more

I called ahead to alert the front desk we would be arrriving from the West coast and our check in would be midnight and we needed a crib. When we did arrive very late --I found several people trying to get rooms last minute, the Front desk person was patient and competent. She welcomed me, found our reservation quickly saw... more

We received a nice group rate for this hotel, and our group really liked the amenities. The desk was always helpful, and the breakfast in the morning was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable. If you're looking to vacation in Philly, and don't want to spend a lot on your hotel, I recommend this one. They have a free... more

The Comfort Inn is deceiving on arrival as the reception is a bit dated and has seen better days. However, the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. Price can be $100 per room which is good for American prices. Looks onto the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Delaware River. Away from the main shops but there is a... more
