I'll agree with most of the posts on this hotel. The location is great. If you're up to walking, you can pretty much walk anywhere from this hotel. If you don't feel like walking, but feel like checking out the sites the Philly Phlash stops right outside the hotels front door. We used this service one day to we planned... more

We stayed at the Residence Inn for 5 nights in May. The good sized suites meant you had plenty of room. There was a well equipped kitchen area, including dishwasher, microwave, fridge and plenty of crockery and cutlery. The maid came in every day and stocked the dishwasher, cleaned the room etc. When asked about restaurants and transport, Reception were... more

Overall I'm a fan of the Residence Inn line from Marriott. Decent Gym, Free Breakfast, Decent Free Dinner. Internet is slow as molasses, just not serviceable for a business traveler. Elevators are awful and you can't take the stairs without setting off Fire Alarms. I was trapped in the basement after an exhausting workout, waiting 10 minutes for an elevator.... more

Nice clean hotel, friendly staff however I valet parked my vehicle and about a month later I received a parking Citation from the City of Philadelphia for an unpaid parking citation. Apparently my vehicle was parked illegally by the valet service and they removed the ticket before returning the vehicle to me. To make a long story short, the ticket... more

My wife and I stayed here for five nights at the end of December. We wanted to see Philly. This is a great location to do that. It is situated right across from the City Hall - that was my room's view. We were able to walk to the historic district and to the museums (Franklin, Natural Art,Rodin, etc) which... more

Stayed there for a bachelor party weekend in one of the larger rooms, and the hotel worked great for us. Clean, big, good location and we could be loud and no one heard us, somehow. Would work great for bachelor parties (somewhat tame ones), business travelers, and tourists. more

We stayed a week. We are reward members and booked a double studio room so we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a corner 2 bedroom 2 bath with kitchen and living room on 19th floor with wonderful view of city hall for $189 a night during Philadelphia marathon. This was the least expensive hotel in city hall area. The... more

I got great deal two beds studio, 139/night. The location was great and especially I liked the beds. The free breakfast was great and weekday evening free... more

Stayed at the Residence Inn Philadelphia City Center for 4 nights in August 2008 (check-in Wednesday / check-out Sunday). Pros: The location. The hotel is centrally located in Philadelphia and within walking distance of many historical/tourist sites. Furthermore, it is adjacent to City Hall with access to the subway system (the blue line) -- The subway provides quick access (20... more
