We decided to take our pop-up camper to Granite Hill Camp Resort for 8 days. When we got there we were put in the main camping area. It was very muddy, and there were plenty of bugs. The bathrooms were nice, but needed some cleaning. We stayed at the site for 1 night and then decided to move sites. We... More

I had little time to review all campgrounds prior to setting reservations. KOAs are expensive and don't offer much more in service and facilities in my opinion. Both Granite Hill and Gettysburg had bad reviews. I chalk some of that up to one time bad experiences or picky people. After my initial review I picked Granite Hill over Gettysburg and... More

We've been camping at Granite Hill for over 10 years. We typically spend two weekends each year. One for the June pool party and the second for one of the Halloween weekends. We always enjoy their nice, well kept pool during the June weekend. There are a lot of fun activities for kids and adults during each of our stays.... More

We a family of 4 (husband, adult son, daughter in law and I) camping with 1 tent and a van were forced to get 2 sites. We were told on the phone we could get 1 but on arrival were told the policy was 2 adults per site !! We were surrounded with campers that had multiple tents and vehicles... More

Overall our stay was good, but I would like to see a few changes before we will stay again or even recommend the campground to other campers. 1. The sites are not level and require the use of levelers. Not just one row, but the max allowed to be used on one side. This was not just an issue at... More

Family friendly campground close to downtown Gettysburg. Went during a chili cook off. Live band played for entertainment! What a great time!!! Everyone was friendly, tons of activities, good public restrooms... I will be back :)

In the Spring we stayed two weekends in a row at this campground, and left the camper on site for the week in between. There were some significantly odd and crazy weather issues going on that weekend and roads around the campground ended up being closed while we were off site. The staff continued answering the phone hours after the... More

Our boy scout troop decided to stay at Granite Hill for a trip to Gettysburg during spring break. However, a bad back made me dubious about sleeping in a tent. One of the adult leaders told me they also had cabins and, of course, RV spaces. I checked their website and they also have a Bed & Breakfast which is... More

We stayed at Granite Hill July 2012 for 3 days during the Gettysburg reinactment. It is a nice campground with freindly staff other than a cranky maintence man. This is probably the nicest of the campgrounds we have stayed at because of the different things they offer. They have a pool and miniature golf and a small cafe/arcade. We don't... More

We have been camping here for a number of years. We love it! Plenty for the kids to do. Pool, miniture Golf, fishing (Pond), activities, Dance with a DJ. etc. The showers near the post sites do need to be upgraded, Hot water and the push button showers are not the best in the fall weather, but they do try...
