After another B&B messed up our reservations and didn't have accomodations for us we tried Herr Ridge, since my cousin stayed there before. Inn at Herr Ridge is a wonderfull B&B. We chose Room 4 in the old section. I was a bit hesitant because the room didn't look that great in the photo. The room turned out to be very nice!! We were traveling with a friend who is very ill, and the hotel management was very accomodating and kind to us....they accelerated breakfast so we could catch a tour, the dinner we had there was high quality. The rooms were nice and large, well appointed and comfortable. You could hear the people upstairs some, but not distractingly so. more

I am amazed something like this is in gettysburg. the incredible food, outstanding winelist. i've never seen a wine list with 800 selections from all over the world. the two person jacuzzi was great and the fireplace had a romantic touch. Great time spent with my wife. Looking forward for another stay in the future. more
