The Holiday Inn in Gettysburg is a pretty typical Holiday Inn, in many respects. It is plain and simple, but clean. In other ways, however, it is very nice. My husband and I spent one night at this hotel. It is an older, motor lodge style hotel with the room entrances on the exterior. We stay at this hotel often 6 to 7 times a year. We return because of the great location, friendly staff and the clean comfortable rooms. We have always found the staff to be so nice and very accommodating....always greeted with a smile. We took our little dog with us in the spring and everyone was so sweet to him.... more

We stayed at this hotel July 4 & 5. It was an okay experience. Staff was not friendly. We were told check-in was at 3p.m., but room was still not ready then. The room was clean once we checked in. Only two towels were in the room. Two of the three lamps were missing lightbulbs. Had to track down housekeeping... more

We stayed here in sept. 2006 and came back this May24-June 6th..
