If they're going to represent themselves as the Jacksonville Airport Motel 6, they ought to be a hell of a lot closer. I don't expect luxury from a Motel 6 but this was supposed to be an economy trip, Tomorrow morning, I face the same charge (or more in traffic) to get back to the airport to get my rental. more

"Renovated" means new bedspreads. Nothing else. Suffice it to say that, upon pulling back the covers on one of the beds, we found a used comb. HORRIBLE smell. Roaches. Blood on the bedspread. Stayed one night, 2/15/07. This place is in the process of being renovated none to soon. Lobby is secured because of bad location, security gaurd on duty. Run down, dirty, and dark. AC sounded like a plane was landing in our room. There was no bathtub only a flimsy shower. We were tried from driving all night and it was 2:30am we just needed a place to sleep till 7:00 am and they had the gall to charge us 48.00 for it. MOTEL 6 WHAT A DUMP.... more

This motel is in a very bad area, lots of people hanging out in cars etc. When I walked into the room it had a stale unpleasant odor. Typical budget motel, no shampoo, no hairdryer and no alarm clock. The room was clean, but this was a seedy section of town with foot traffic through the parking lot all night long. more
