Booked three rooms through priceline.com last minute. I called to confirm the reservation and request the rooms all be located on the same floor and to request a view if possible. Being a customer of priceline I have run into two kinds of attitudes. One is the "no" attitude and the other is the one the Hyatt presented... the quality... more

I travel alot for business so I see many hotels. This Hyatt is a letdown in many ways. The rooms need a facelift, old Tv''s and NO WIFI! When I pay over $200 a night I expect the basics. As a business traveler this is a nice TV and Wifi. The had a great steakhouse on site Plaza III but... more

The staff members with whom I interacted were uniformly welcoming and helpful. The ready access to a path along the riverfront and the Jacksonville Landing is nice, but the neighborhood is not stellar. The price was a bit high given the quality of the furnishings, and the (wired) internet access is overpriced at $14.95 per day. A good chair suited... more

The hotel is in the perfect location. A short walk to Jacksonville Riverwalk which has great food, live music and as many bars as you can have in one area. The only issue I had with the hotel was check in. There were a number of conferences and weddings there and they only had 2 agents checking in, long line!... more

We stayed at the Hyatt for a school reunion and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right from the start, we were treated well. Michael, at the front desk, was very friendly and was able to get us an upgrade on our room. The view was amazing and the room was more than we expected. The location was very convenient to all... more

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville from 9/29-10/2 with a friend who was there for a conference. Check in was smooth. The bellman helped us to the room with our luggage upon arrival. We were on the 6th floor with a river view. The view was absolutely spectacular. What wasn't spectacular were the simple things that this hotel was... more

I have stayed at this property several times, and each time there is something else that just doesn't sit well with me. This trip there were several things that finally broke the camel's back. Perhaps as a business traveler that spends several nights a week away from home I am a little picky. But these things...well, you decide. To begin... more

for me personally, trust is a very big issue. when i travel, i usually go back to the same places if i have a good experience. when traveling in groups, knowing what to expect makes my job much easier. if i find a property where everything good is predictable time after time, i trust every experience from then on will... more

I stayed at the Jacksonville Riverfront Hyatt with my wife and son on Aug. 19-21, 2009. We went to Jacksonville to tour Jacksonville University. The hotel is awesome. I paid $66.00 per night by booking on hotwire.com. The hotel is right on the St. Johns River. Plenty of places to eat close by. The hotel food is extremely expensive, $7.00... more

First with the good: I was very pleased with the physical facilities. The room was nice, but not as nice as I would expect for a 4-star hotel. The pool and exercise room (on the top floor) were excellent with a glorious view. Lastly the negative: They nickel and dime the guest for all the things that I think should... more
