I booked a room for August 3rd and 4th. Unfortunately our family's plan changed and I had to cancel. I called two weeks before our scheduled arrival and canceled. When I received my AMEX bill there was a charge for one night. I challenged the charge. Holiday Inn said I was a no show for the second night. I explained... more

This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at in our 9 day road trip around the the northwest. We we ended up staying here 2 nights instead of 1 because we liked it so much. Astoria is a neat little town with some interesting history. Take in the Maritime Museum just up the rail line which stops right... more

We stayed at the hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean; our room was very large with all amenities and the free breakfast was unexpected and quite good with lots of selections. The people at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, as we... more

Our room was immaculate and comfortably appointed, staff was friendly and informative about Astoria attractions and activities. The hotel lobby was welcoming and included local restaurant menus and lists of the daily shipping arrivals and departures along with binoculars for closer observation. Bicylces... more

It was fun to watch the HUGE freighters float by up the Columbia or out to the Pacific Ocean. Also the trolly would... more

My grandfather lives in Astoria and we went last September. I am looking to go again this year and remembered how great this hotel is. We stayed in the ""West Suite, " which was a King bed, dresser, and TV when you first enter. Then there was a hall way with a well equipped (microwave, fridge, glasses, etc.) wet bar... more

This was one of the best spots we stayed on our journey around Oregon. The hotel is fairly new, clean, excellent staff and a very good location. Parking does appear limited, though we had no issues. Right on the boardwalk and the Columbia river. more
