Clean, clean. Had a huge room. Breakfast was so-so, typical of an "included breakfast". Liked the business center which was in a separate room. more

My wife and I spent six nights at HI Express Astoria and we were very pleased with the stay. The rooms on the river have extraordinary views and some come with a gas fireplace. The property is relatively new, clean and very well managed. The desk staff were always pleasant and helpful. Towels, toiletries and coffees were replaced like clockwork.... more

When we checked in we immediately got upgraded to a river view. What a break, it was beautiful. The hotel was very nice, had a good breakfast and friendly staff. The trolly had a stop right outside the hotel which was a plus. Very clean and in great shape. more

We went up for a a family reunion that was actually at the holiday inn express. The hotel had a wonderful view overlooking the Astoria bridge (like it was RIGHT next to the bridge) and was right on the water. The hotel rooms were nice, though the roll away beds were terribly uncomfortable. Bathrooms were nice, and everything was clean.... more

I stayed here for one night and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, great location, large well equipped , quiet rooms and just stunning views of the river . I could have happily spent another day watching the birdlife on the Columbia and the ships departing and arriving. The pool was a decent size, clean and not over run by kids.... more
