The Astoria Inn is located in an 1890 Victorian home high on the hill overlooking the Columbia River. The views from the rooms at the front of the house are wonderful, with an ever-changing panorama of ships and other activity on the river below. Parking is ample and safe. It is a "do-able" but fairly long walk to town, but... more

"Comfortably elegant" is how I'd describe your beautiful B&B, the perfect setting for our honeymoon. We so appreciate your hospitality and kindness to us during our 4-night stay in Astoria. You can count on us giving you a call when it's time to return to the Coast! All the best blessings on you and dear Blossom. more

We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of September. I agree with the other comments about the owner, Mickey, who is a fabulous cook and always sent us off with a wonderful breakfast. We stayed in the Cape Mears room, which has a terrific view of the Columbia River. You can hear the sea lions from the harbor,... more

Everything about the Astoria Inn was just fabulous. We were here on a pit stop night as we traveled throughout Oregon. Mickey, the Inn Keeper, was so gracious and is one heck of a chef. The breakfast in the morning was so scrumptious with fresh fruits and meats and such. The room we stayed in was the Cape Mears room... more

This is a great B&B, it was relaxed and centrally located, had a great view and an amazing owner. The attention to detail was amazing, we were greeted with fresh baked cookies and never wanted to leave. This was our first B&B and we were pleasantly surprised with how comfortable we felt. more

Micky and Blossom the Exceedlingly Gentle Bulldog have a beautiful home high on the hill overlooking the river and it was a privilege to stay with them for a night. I wished it had been longer. I had a small accident on the way and so was late for check in (4 til 7) and was so relieved to find... more

Perfect! I am one of those people who will research and research and research and RESEARCH til I find the perfect place. I planned a weeklong honeymoon trip for me and my husband. We drove from the Portland area out to Astoria for just an overnight stay and the drive itself out there was absolutely beautiful. It's such a small,... more

This beautiful little hideaway is truly amazing - from the first smiling greeting at the front door to the bag of fresh baked cookies and numerous goodbye waves as we left. The Astoria Inn is one of several hundred Victorian homes in this historically significant city and Micky Cox has done a wonderful job of restoring it and decorating it... more

This beautiful B & B sits high on a hill overlooking the town and bay . The view was great and the host and breakfast were wonderful. We had the Cape Mears room, which had a view of the bay. Only one chair makes it hard to find a comfortable place for two people to sit. We missed our internet... more

We spent 2 nights in the Cape Lookout room. What a view! The Columbia River below us, with all the barges and sailboat traffic -- it was spectacular, and we could even hear the returning sea lions barking at a local marina. (If you don't want to hear the sea lions, request a room on the back side of the... more
