This place is a decent value for the money, but we were not excited about it. The owners seemed friendly and competent, but the rooms all seemed a bit tired and faded, needed brightening up with new bedspreads perhaps...Of the B and B's we visited on our trip, this was the only one that did not ask us any questions... more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this friendly little town! This past August, the local genealogical society in Clatsop County hosted the first annual reunion of the descendants of the permanent members of the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery, and the whole town opened up its arms and welcomed us! I stayed at the Franklin Street Station Bed... more

After looking for B&B's in Astoria on the internet, I called the Franklin St. B&B and spoke to the proprietor directly. As she described the rooms, I asked more about the Hideaway suite, and she described it to me. On the internet it is touted as, "The Hide-Away - this one has it all from a complete kitchen and dining... more

To whom it may concern, the gentleman that wrote that review did not tell the whole story. I did try to get him up on the 2nd floor but he wanted a very inexpensive room since he would be working most of the time. So I did explain as always that the hide-away is on the lowest level and has...
