The innkeepers are most attentive to their guests. Good location, with easy walk to downtown Astoria or the Astoria Column. Exceptional breakfast and a friendly & comfortable place to relax. They have a library of 600 DVD's to borrow if you're a movie buff. Highly recommend a stay her if you're in Astoria.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The Tower room was very large and comfortably appointed with lots of nice high quality extras. Rose River is within an easy walk to the downtown where there are many restaurants. Breakfast was great and included a large bowl of fresh fruit followed by a delicious quiche served at a large common... More

We spent 2 nights at the Rose River B&B, and enjoyed it immensely. Pam and Dave have done a beautiful job restoring the property - our room was beautiful, bathroom roomy. The best feature was the sitting porch - we really enjoyed having a glass of wine/cup of coffee on the porch, watching the river traffic. The gardens are gorgeous... More

Pam and Dave are great hosts! We spent 2 nights here. Beautiful flower garden and very nice sitting area in the back where we enjoyed the bottle of Champagne we brought. Pam gave us the name of a great cocktail lounge and restaurant attached where we met some great people! The suite we stayed in was very clean and comfortable.... More

The location was very convenient, the rates were reasonable, and Pam and David were great hosts. We enjoyed the breakfast and the conversation with the other guests. You could sit on the porch or in the back yard. It was nice having a sitting room in addition to the bed room. It was so relaxing staying here, and a nice... More

When planning our first trip to the Northwest we decided we wanted to spend a day in Astoria, Oregon. We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before but thought we would give it a try. We definitely picked the right place to stay. The exterior of the home is just beautiful and very inviting. The flowers are unbelievable,... More

We recently spent two nights at the Rose River Inn. The inn is a beautifully landscaped three story house located just a couple blocks from the downtown area and the river walk. It's a very easy walk to dozens of small shops and restaurants and the town's two brewpubs. Our queen room came with a view and private bath (clawtub).... More

My husband and I have never stayed at a B&B before, but now we'll never stay at a hotel in Astoria again! This place was great and so beautiful (the gardens in the summer were amazing). We were a little nervous since we're fairly private people and were staying for 4 nights, but Pam & David were wonderful and made... More

Location was fabulous- view of the river in the common area & our room and also great walking location to downtown Astoria including waterfront restaurants, trolley, shops, coffee, etc. Hosts were very gracious, well decorated & beautiful flowers. This is inn is what you think of when you hear Bed & Breakfast!
