Hotel Limpia has made me question the wisdom of staying at a "vintage" property. "Vintage" should not mean "thrift store." Neat old hotel with terrific history. We had a good stay. Restaurant was good with strong west Texas flavor. We stayed in one of the guest houses so that we could do laundry, which was extremely critical for us and convenient. Only downside, beds were not very restful. more

I delt with our reservation via internet. The hotel was very easy to deal with, and both discounted and upgraded our room as it was the 'shoulder' season. This hotel was built in the 1920s. Reopened in 1978. Definitely has that old world charm. It is family owned and managed by Don Parkinson, who is gem of an employee. Hotel Limpia is a treat for family stays. It's an historic building with many artifacts to see. It has a quaint garden, gift store and small dining room - we didn't eat there.
