Our stay at the Mount Vernon Hotel was excellent! Although it is about a 12-15 minute walk to the harbor and convention center, the hotel was by far the best value I could find in the area. I like staying in the Mount Vernon district of Baltimore, "midtown" about 8 or 9 blocks from the Inner Harbor.
