Took over two and a half hours to check in (after 4;00PM). The check in desk even called an hour and a half later (5:30) to say we could check in. Got back to the hotel, 'they were confused', we couldn't check in yet. They did upgrade us to suites for our troubles. They weren't ready on time either. We... more

My husband and I just visited Baltimore to go to the Red Sox Game. I have read the mixed reviews of the Brookshire but I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. We had a two room suite that was well decorated and clean. They offer a free full breakfast nuch better than the branded hotels plus a complimentary... more

I frequently travel to Baltimore on business, and this was by far the worst stay. The room was filthy, the shower curtain covered with mold. There was a dead cockroach in the middle of the room, and it remained there for the duration of my stay, so it certainly was not vacuumed. The bag with Q-tips in the bathroom was... more

As the Hotel General Manager - I'd like to sincerely apologize that you experienced a theft from your guest room. I understand how this must feel, and it is certainly not the experience that we strive to deliver at the Brookshire Suites. In light of the events that occurred - we have made significant upgrade and changes to our security...

My girlfriends and I stayed at Brookshire in early May 2009. While we enjoying the city, we had items stolen from our room including a purse and a wallet. The manager on duty that day was nice and attentive but everyone else up to that point was incompetent and unresponsive. Their stories were not lining up and they weren't doing... more

I was here on business, so unfortunately I did not get to experience some of the extra activities the hotel offers. First off, I would like to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a small repair that needed to be done to my room, which was done expeditiously. I think this place is good for... more

It was our first visit to Baltimore Harbor and we stayed at the Brookshire. The rooms were not very clean and the bathroom was disgusting. The rooms also smelled funky. The staff was not very helpful at all, there was only one staff member that looked interested in us. They advertised an indoor pool but do they did not say... more

I have stayed at this property on several occasions and I am sad to say this was the last. The location is amazing but everything else seems to be on a steady decline. Andrea at the front desk is one of the most incompetent people I have ever come across. Each time I was at the desk there was another... more

OK - they assigned us to a room that had someone in it (good thing we knocked), there was a long line at check in and only one employee, and the room was noisy enough that my wife had trouble sleeping. The $9.85 pseudo resort fee is a tad annoying. Let's get that out of the way. The suite was... more

Stayed at the Brookshire Easter weekend. The hotel is within walking distance to most attractions - camden yards, aquarium, fell's point, power plant. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. My only suggestion would be to incorporated the additional 9.95 daily fee into their room rates. Be sure and take advantage of the social hour (free wine, beer) and... more
