We stayed here when we were attending a function at Martin's West, as said earlier this hotel is litteraly in the parking lot. As a first impression, the front desk staff were very friendly, asked me where we would prefer to stay, what side, 1st or 2nd floor. Even when checking out the gentleman at the front desk was very... more

When I first arrived, I was disturbed because they didn't have the original rate of the hotel price booked through Kayak.com. They fixed that problem. As my family moved into the hotel room, there were a few problems with some things. The desk which HAD a cord connected to it which it was severed, toilet paper roll holder was falling... more

I understand that standard check-in time is 3:00 pm, however we arrived at the best western earlier than scheduled (12:00 noon). Initially we were very understanding of that fact and so we left and came back around 2:30 pm hoping that a room would be available. I spoke with a hotel representative via telephone, who again informed me that check-in... more

I had to spend a couple days (one night) in Baltimore on business. Every rental car in the city was booked and no hotels were discounting. It was Preakness week and the Red Sox were in town. The hotel website had me believe that it was close to the inner harbor, etc. Here's what I found - a hotel off... more

I was a little worried given some earlier reviews of this hotel, but my stay was fine. I spent three weeknights while my mother was recovering from surgery at nearby Kernan hospital. The room was clean and well furnished with pretty recent stuff; the fridge, microwave, TV and everything all worked just fine. The bed was pretty comfy and the... more

I'd been out of my room from early morning 'til evening and when I went to get dressed for bed, I noticed that some of my clothing was missing. I immediately called the front desk because the maids had cleaned my room that morning. The person at the front desk said she'd look in the garbage for my clothing. I... more

My wife and I had to travel down to Baltimore for a wedding this past weekend. The wedding was held at Martins West which is almost in the parking lot of this hotel. We were prepared for the worst after seeing some reviews on hotels.com. We arrived and the gentlemen on the desk was very nice. This hotel has rooms... more

After booking on Hotwire, and reading the reviews on Tripadvisor, I was quite worried. However, the staff was courteous, the room was clean (with a definite oder of new carpet), and the complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. Obviously, they are trying to get their act together. I will return. more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! This has to be the worst hotel I have ever ever stayed at in the past 10 years! The rooms had a horrible odor, the bathroom was dirty, the heating system is a joke (if you do decide to turn it on it sounds as if a tornado is about to hit your room), the bathroom was filthy... more

We stayed here for one night during a business conference. We switched rooms several times because they either did not have adequate heat or smelled bad. Mind you this is after several hours of driving and a trade show with a two year old. When we finally settled for the smelly but warm room, with a non-working phone, it was... more
