This was meant to be a quick overnight to be close to the airport in the morning. That was about all it was. Front desk service was terrible, bill was not correct, no polite greeting, etc.... Room was very ordinary. I'm sure you can find a nicer spot in the area. more
This appeared to be a new Candlewood Suites so was clean and in good working order as would be expected. It is conveniently located near the airport and golf course but is a little distance from Savannah itself. There are lots of other motels nearby and restaurants are a short drive across I-95.
Because Candlewood Suites is geared to extended stay travelers, the room was large and had a cooktop, a full size refrigerator, a flat panel TV and a dvd player. Free dvds are available at the front desk. The staff was very friendly. We were in the middle of a very long road trip so the free laundry facility was great. Breakfast is not complimentary but a small food pantry is available in the lobby.
