The Marriott Riverfront is at the far end of the historic district and is geared toward conventions. Rooms are fairly typical by Marriott standards and the public areas could use a refresh. Services are good for Marriott Rewards members at higher status levels...but dont be surprised if the members lounge is closed during slower periods. The staff was very helpful... more

We spent the weekend in Savannah, staying at the Marriott Riverfront. From the moment we got on the property, we were welcomed heartily, and genuinely. The valet greeted us with charm, and every person that we came in contact with that was employed by the Marriott went out of their way to help us, greet us, thank us. It was... more

I chose to use my points to get a free night at this fab hotel. We were upgraded to a jr suite view of river when they messed up something on my reservation(forgot what it was). Room service cam in a timely manner with everything being such yummy cuisine. I hate that there was no complimentaty breakfast, but what do... more

I stay at Marriott hotels every week, and this did not live up to my expectations asthetically. It is old and needs updating, especially the halways and elevators. I had several issues while staying here although the staff were very helpful in correcting these things. The view is great. The location is great. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel just needs... more

The Marriott was clean, modern and beautiful. Valet was curtous but took quite some time in retreiving our vehicles. The interior of the hotel had an abundance of great space for conferences or events. We arrived early and at first the desk clerk said that there were no rooms available yet, but a manager stepped in and upgraded our room... more

It's my first time to visit Savannah and I walk in to to Savannah Marriott Riverfront. The bellstand welome me with a great smile and the front desk to check me in was very nice and pleasant. I travel most of my time around the country but never had this southern hospitality that they are saying. Well I got it... more

Stayed one night for $90 (priceline), but prepare to add $30 more for parking and internet. Regular 4-star Mariott, may be a little too far from the center, but close to the riverfront. more

This property is best in location and service if you want to enjoy the historic district of Savannah and at the same time an easy walk access to the Famous River Street. I went to Savannah every 3 years and this is the first time I tried this hotel and honestly I truly enjoyed my stay with my family. I... more

This hotel was very nice. It's where the Olympians stayed in 1996 for the water events. Our front, you can sit on the river and watch the container ships go by. One night, we even watched fireworks out there. We booked through priceline and we very pleased to "win" this hotel. We think we were given a room accordingly, because... more

We stayed for five days in Savannah. After arriving at a place on Tybee that we had booked for the week only to find it was dirty and unacceptable, we checked out the Marriott. First before booking our rooms we toured the hotel, checked a room, and made sure that we were going to be satisfied with the hotel since... more
