The hotel is generally very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is excellent. The bar has great happy hour deals and the service in the bar is quicker than the restaurant. Now for the other type of service available in the bar. Friday and Saturday nights are pumping at the Quay Lounge. A very good band... more

We arrived at the Red Lion at the Quay around 9pm, exhausted and ready to relax. The girl at the front desk was very sweet and showed us to our room very quickly. Walking down the hall to our room there was a musty old smell, and when we entered the room the smell was awful. As we began to... more

Red Lion At The Quay if awesome. Great room, good amenities, and awesome service by the staff. The hotel location is right on the beautiful Columbia River. There are great restaurants nearby (and in the hotel on the water's edge.) It takes only 4 minutes to walk to the Hilton (Convention Center). We stayed for 7 days. Highly recommended. more

Nothing special. Close to the river and I-5, but not terribly convenient for restuarants and shops. more

The Red Lion at the Quay (Kee) is an older property with upgrades. Its a sprawling property (1960's) which grew from various expansions. It is built around a wonderfully slightly-heated pool. Fitness freaks can fitness-walk the COLUMBIA right beside the hotel. I did it every day. I take exception to the fact you can not walk to anything. Downtown Vancouver... more

The Vancouver (Inn) at the Quay is an older property that has been maintained pretty well over the years. Its location on the Columbia River facing Oregon's Hayden Island / Janzen Beach is nice (especially if you have a riverside room), but you have to be prepared for some surprises. Check-in was delayed for hours. Admitedly, their published check-in time... more

I liked the room I got (#237). It was a bit small, but OK for one person. They have very comfy pillowtop mattresses and apparently all the rooms are non-smoking. The room was very attractive. But, I would not stay here again because of the noise from the nearby train tracks. This very active train track is only a block... more

Unable to get a reservation at the Hilton in Vancouver, Washington, I settled for the Red Lion because of its proximity to the convention center. I asked for and received confirmation of a smoking room. When I arrived, the desk clerk told me that the hotel had discontinued its policy of offering smoking rooms and there were none in the... more

This hotel could really use some new carpets, curtains and paint at a minimum. As someone who is sensitive to perfumes and smoke, the deodorizor used to mask the musty cigarette odors lingering gave me a headache! the hotel is dark and dingey, and i agree with the other reviewer about the trek to the elevator being particularly long! i... more

This hotel sits on the Columbia river and has a deck that extends over the water. It's located next to the convention center and the area known as the "Uptown Village". We drove about a mile to the Vancouver Pizza Company (2219 Main Street) and loved it. The room itself was a little small but my teenage daughters loved the... more
