Been here before. Hotel is little dated but pretty solid three star. However having been in three different hotels last week staying here reminds me of value of other chain hotels that have more amenities. Went to lobby here and no coffee or tea and no complimentary anything to eat. I did get good price online via bidding site and... More

Had an employee meeting at "the Quay" and had a super experience. From check-in to check-out and throughout the meeting, our party was served well. Consider this property on your next stay in Vancouver.

This year's Tiki Kon is going to be at this hotel, but since we can't go, we stayed last night. It's pretty obvious that this is not a new property. There are various signs of age all over. Nothing terrible, but still there. A little more concentration on repairing the minor issues that I saw would go a long way... More

I wasn't all that impressed with this hotel. I stayed there about ten years ago and there was definitely a worn interior, but not bad. The last few years haven't improved it much. The room had a musty/mildew smell. I told the front desk and housekeeping sprayed perfume in it. No investigation into the odor. However, I really liked the... More

The staff was exceptionally friendly and polite, although wait times could be a little long because there was often only one person on the desk. The room was fine. It was a bit noisy, but I actually switched rooms, because I had 2 queens and preferred a single king. The bed was a little too soft for me personally, but... More

The location of this Red Lion allowed us to quickly access all of the locations we desired. The room we stayed in was in really good condition and even though it wasn't a listed as "river view" it had a great view of the water and bridges. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this location to... More

10 days ago I left an item in my room. I have called the front desk to be forwarded twice to 'House Keeping' and leave a voice mail, and receive no response. I called during their supervisor's shift, I was told my message would be delivered and she would respond as quickly as possible, I decided to call back this same... More

This Red Lion property has probably seen better days but offers a good overall experience. It has a good location with walking access to downtown Vancouver, Ft Vancouver and the "River Trail" walkway along the Columbia. I'd opt for a river side if available or a third floor room facing the pool and river. Access to elevator is not convenient... More

I found this hotel to be excellent. My only negative was that the room I was promised (overlooking the river) was not provided. Instead, I had a room overlooking the parking area. Other than that, I have nothing but kudos. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, water in the shower was hot and the pressure was good, the restaurant... More

Stay at this hotel in connection with a one day meeting. Arrived after 2 pm for check-in and waiting guests were beginning to think that nobody was working at the hotel.
