Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers really liked this hotel. We had plenty of room in the business class double room. The personal porch was a cozy location to read. The rustic lodge style had much charm and the staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. We stayed here while visiting Mt. St. Helens. The hotel is nestled in... more

First of all let me say that this place is amazing!! I live in Vancouver, WA but still stay at the Heathman just to get away from home or for anniversaries and birthdays. The employees are great and the rooms relaxing and comfortable. My husband thinks they have the best beds in the world and would probably live there if... more

Just spent two nights here with my husband and two young boys. Our stay was flawless. We stayed on the business level, and our room was large, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast each morning and the friendly staff. The boys enjoyed the indoor pool and spa. We had dinner at Hudson's Bar and Grill, and... more

I travel extensively for business and often for pleasure. This hotel was recommended by a client that I had flown in to meet with when the Hilton was full and it was so much more than I expected. A four story timber lodge setting that greets you with a large fireplace and piano bar as you enter. The reception staff... more

The customer service at the Heathman Lodge is EXCELLENT...They did more than just exceed my expectations. The staff was polite and friendly, my team and I were always greeted with a smile. When we booked the hotel we looked for a hotel that mirrored our own corporate beliefs. If you book at any other hotel you may want to reconsider.... more

This was a really nice hotel. We felt a little out of place as it caters to the businessman crowd. The restaurant in the hotel was very nice too. more

My husband and my parents stayed at the Heathman Lodge for the weekend after reviewing the great reviews on TripAdvisor. The lodge is very lovely. We stayed on the fourth floor, the business level. The complimentary breakfast was a nice added touch. The rooms were spacious and quiet. We left the window open and could hear a little freeway noise... more

I stayed at the Heathman a few weeks ago for three nights. Price was right, location poor, room was large. Problems: new carpet in room - it took me three days to realize the headache I had each morning was from the new carpet and carpet glue, one of the sinks didn't drain properly, and the electrical plug by the... more

This guest did contact us after their stay with us. We responded promptly to the concerns they brought to our attention and apologized for the inconvenience during the stay. We did invite this guest back to our Hotel and offered a complementary upgrade to one of our suites during their next stay to the Vancouver, Washington area. I am disappointed...

I booked this almost as an afterthought as we were heading to the Columbia Gorge area for a special anniversary stay at the Skamania Lodge.I spoke with Melissa in reservations and took all the info then later called her back to book just one nite. She made a great first impression for what was to be a wonderful stay. We... more

Just came back from a long weekend at the Heathman Lodge (do not confuse this with the Heathman Hotel in downtown Portland). It is centrally located near the highway and I-205 Freeway. I have friends an family in Vancouver, but have always stayed in Portland when I visited. The prices had been getting ever steeper, so I thought I would... more
