When you arrive you are greeted with not only a friendly staff, but good coffee, great tea and warm cookies. Rooms were large and nicely decorated and roomy. We stayed here both coming and going on our trip. The staff, Stephanie for one, was so helpful. more

Hikingheide, Thank you for your kind words. When I shared your comment with Stephanie she was thrilled that you felt she was so helpful. We strive to give our guests the best customer service and “family home” feel, with fresh coffee and fresh baked cookies. As Stephanie likes to say, “it’s all in a day’s work” and that’s what you...

What else can you ask for? We stayed here for spring break. Price was good. Rooms were roomy, clean and recently renovated. Comes with fridge and microwave in room. Staff were accomodating, fresh baked cookies and popcorn 24/7. However popcorn tasted funny. Breakfast was better than most motels -- breakfast bagels, burritos, waffles, bit more than the usual fare. Overall,... more

My son and I got stranded in southern Washington recently due to road closures caused by flooding and were lucky to find accomodations at Shilo Inn & Suites for the night. The rooms were very welcoming and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere in the common area was super friendly. I want to give special recognition to Roger... more

I attended a business conference in the Vancouver area with my husband. The Shilo Inn was an excellent location for us to stay because it has very easy off and on access to and is so close to the freeway. Other businesses needed by travellers such as gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants are also in the immediate area. We... more

Everyone one has said every thing I want to say about this hotel! We stayed here for one night of a 17 night tour of Oregon and Washington State. This hotel was by far and away the best place we stayed in during our tour. I can only reiterate what others have said... it is amazing...the rooms are fantastic... The... more

I was looking for a place to stay in the Vancouver WA area for a night after travelling up from Eugene, OR the night before. I read the reviews of the travellers on this website, and decided to make a booking direct via the hotel website. I booked for the night of 4/9, and got a rate of USD81.95 per... more

I have been a "road warrior" for almost twenty years. I stay in hotels on an average of 135 days of the year, and this hotel is by far the best I have ever stayed in. The rooms are emaculate(the bed is more comfortable than my own bed at home!), and the service is superior. I always feel like family... more

We read the Portland area hotel reviews prior to our two night stay. This Shilo Inn was rated great. The ratings are accurate! The rooms are truly brand new, right down to the stainless steel mini-fridge and stainless steel microwave. The pool area also appeared freshly tiled and painted. We are mid-westerners (Chicago), and were unfamiliar with the Shilo Inn... more

We have stayed at this location several times, but the latest was just wonderful. The remodel has changed it from ok to perfect. With non smoking rooms, you fell like you can breath. New, new, new everywhere, which makes you feel like royalty. Very comfortable and homey. The staff are also happy with the results. I plan to revisit many... more
