For the price you pay, this is a decent stay. The location is quite good as it is within walking distance to the subway. It takes about 5-7 minutes to walk there and it is a safe district.
The website you book the B & B from requires you to pay $25 if this is your first time. That is a setback for sure but if this is the best you can get, then go for it.

The Farm Cottage is a very old house and the room we were in, was a little disappointing since the photo on the website made the room look a LOT nicer. That's photography for you.
The floor appears to be quite dirty so keep your shoes on. The big floor rug is were you don't want to step on. There is no heater on so bear the cold and of course no A/C.

The bathroom which is shared was the biggest nightmare for me. It's a bad idea to shower at night if you are not there during summer. The bathroom is huge but you shower in an antique bathtub. It is quite small but the main problem was not that. The main... more
