My company has an office in Cambridge, and after five nights at the Hyatt we crossed the river and spent a wonderful night at the Bertram Inn. Our room was lovely, the staff was gracious and the breakfast offering was expansive. What a contrast the the very sorry Hyatt. I am recommending the Bertram Inn for any co-workers who will... more
The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable, breakfast was great, and the inn is very close to mass transit to get into Boston. I would definitely go back. more
This was our third stay at the Bertram Inn--but it surely will not be our last. Though we found the Inn on a site for lodging near the Beth Israel Health Care Complex and were traveling down from Vermont for medical purposes and had no idea exactly what to expect, we were astounded by the ambience of this little inn.... more
My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 4 nights. I picked this B&B because it was close to the hospital and we needed to be at the hospital for 4 days. It’s within walking distance. The staff was excellent; they helped recommend good restaurants to eat at and gave us detailed directions on how to get there. Everything... more

Since it was early our room was not ready, but she offered to hold our luggage until it was prepared. Our room was warm and comfortable (we stayed in #7).....we... more
The Bertram Inn was my first inn experience and won't be my last! Upon check in the staff was warm and friendly to us all....our dog even recieved dog biscuits! We were only staying for one night but the staff was very friendly and helpful. They provided us with the number of a local groomer/doggie day care so we can... more
My wife and I spent seven nights, and most of the experience was good. I'll list positive and then negative comments. Positive: 1. The location is ideal for Boston University, and anyplace in downtown Boston or connected by the T. Also Brookline is well worth investigating. You won't need a car to get to most spots in the metro area.... more
