The Kenmore Inn was a surprise highlight to my husband's & my trip touring Virginia this fall. Some thought has gone in to making it more comfortable than the usual B&B, and the large rooms and tasteful, uncluttered antique furnishings throughout this grand old house were a delight. We are typically not at our most social at breakfast time, and... more

There are 8 very nice rooms on the top floor, a breakfast servng area on the main floor, and a restaurant (which is very good) and a bar (which is very friendly) in the lower level. The staff was very helpful, and friendly, in telling us how and where to visit places in Federicksburg. They also recommended several restaurants that... more

This inn was more like a small hotel than a bed and breakfast and lacked the personal touch. The hotel was comfortable and clean enough with nice antique furniture. It had been decorated to give character. The room was almost too full of ornaments so left little room for guests items. The bathroom was small and needed refurbishing. Service was... more

We chose the Kenmore because if its location and its age. There's something interesting about staying in a house built in 1793. But there was something missing and its hard to put a finger on it. The first thing the innkeeper said to me was "There's going to be a band playing tonight and it may disturb you." There is... more

We had a deluxe cozy room with air, period decor, and important for a planned trip this winter an in room fireplace. We had a wonderful breakfast with my special request for fresh strawberries with yummy french toast immediately honored, no questions and no extra charge. Our bathroom was newly redone. Historic downtown shopping was 2 blocks away. Reading on... more

This inn is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. There's a lovely garden and a convenient bar and restaurant downstairs. Breakfast upstairs is very pleasant. Our weekend stay was perfect. more

We stayed at the Kenmore Inn for 2 nights as part of a trip to Virginia, all in B&B's and were disappointed both by the building which seemed to be living on its reputation rather than delivering on the promises it makes on its website, and the level /quality of service. Our room was badly in need of a 'refresh'... more

Marion, the Inn Keeper, went out of her way to accomodate our ever-changing plans for my niece's graduation. We have traveled to Fredericksburg for the past 4 years for my nieces' and nephew's high school graduations. My husband loves the town's history and I am fond of well run B & Bs. The Inn is roomy yet cozy, formal but... more
