Was really looking foward to staying here in a very interesting building and meeting the couple who claim to run it. Instead Suzie was no-where to be seen and the very elderly parents of Sean were trying to keep it up. Way too much work for them to do alone & it shows...They were VERY nice to talk to, but... more

The hosts are wonderful and environmentally conscious. The building is a 4 story log structure hand built by the owner. It is situated about 5 minutes from the University of Alaska and 15 minutes from downtown Fairbanks. It is nestled in a charming spruce forest with a view of a pond.
