I had to comment on what a special place Garden Green B&B was!! My wife and two children came to Brooklyn to attend a wedding nearby and we wanted a relaxing place to stay that we could walk back and forth to the groom's house and to the various wedding/festivity locations. We really got lucky. One of the owners, Laura,... more

I am very surprised to see such negative ratings- I have found a great place to stay in this B&B- feeling so welcomed and at home! Laura was so helpful and with a gracious personality, especially when my friend was in need of finding a walk in emergency room (hurt his foot) and had many interesting stories to share and... more

Wow! After speaking with the owner over the phone my wife and I managed to book a room for our entire week stay in Brooklyn. We were excited, although put off a bit by some of the odd statements the owner had made on our final booking phone call. If I had read the reviews on here previous to our... more

Unquestionably the worst B and B we have ever stayed at. Coming in we knew that this B and B did not come with breakfast but we were unaware that food and dink , other than water, were not allowed in the quest room. Additionally, the downstairs common area featured a very cluttered dining room table that discouraged quest usage.... more

My husband and I stayed here in April and it was delightful. I am baffled by the negative reviews. The owner, Laura, couldn't have been friendlier and our upstairs room was great. The place has a very homey atmosphere, with piles of books and bric-a-brac scattered around so if you are a serious neat freak, this isn't the place for... more

We stayed in the downstairs apartment and while the bedroom was OK, the bathroom was small and with poor lighting (important for the woman who wants to apply make up). Our problem was the very poor sofa bed. The downstairs apartment is advertised for 4 people and there were 3 in our group. The sofa bed is so worn out... more

I tried to book a one night midweek stay at this B&B only to be told that it was too far in advance to book one night, and that should someone else want the room for a longer stay they would not wish to turn that person away. The suggestion was that I wait until nearer my visit and provided... more

Very welcoming. Stayed in a twin room, which was very comfortable. Great location near two subways and route into manhattan. Highly recommend. more

I went to this place not only with good intentions but with every intention of booking it. Instead I was shooed away by an easily offended and, to me, offensive owner. Since my parents were coming to town, I was interested in finding them a place close to where I live. Garden Green was the closest, so I figured I'd... more

This being my first stay in Brooklyn, I found my stay at the Garden Green Bed and Breakfast a peaceful place to rest. We were welcomed at the door by Keith and Laura and graciously excorted to our room. The room was reminiscent of childhood memories leaving you feeling very secure much like when you were a child and you... more
