I made a reservation and canceled it, but because it was not 48 hours in advanced was charged the full price for the reservation from these rip-off artist. Reservation was made on the phone and this policy was NOT mentioned. BEWARE more

We used this motel for a 2 day sight-seeing trip to Manhatton, which formed part of our vacation to the USA in 2008. I booked it as it was very good value, it had free on-site parking (I was drivng up from Virginia), and was within walking distance of a subway station so that we could use the subway to... more

Clean, friendly I was pleasantly surprised. Left each day for business in the city, returned each evening and had no issues with noise or shady characters as I needed my sleep. Room is small but so is a room 3 times the price in Manhatten. Only down side was wireless was weak and a caution if you mind there is... more

After a long night of drinking and running around Manhattan, my wife and I found ourselves locked out of our friends house in Brooklyn @ 4 AM, so we asked a cab driver to take us to the closet hotel. When we first pulled up, we saw a girl standing out front of the hotel (at this point of the... more

We stayed there 2 nights simply because we were so very late and couldn't find anything better in Manhatan at reasonable prices. We booked by telephone 3 days prior to our arrival. The rooms are nice but everything else is far from being just OK. It's REALLY far away from the closest subway station (20 min walk), although they say... more

My wife and I liked it. The location is ideal for visiting our daughter, who lives in Brooklyn Heights in an apartment too small to accommodate guests. The rooms are tiny, so we booked two rooms, one for each--that's still cheaper than the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott, the only other viable choice. Redhook is an interesting place to walk around and... more

We were a bit nervous at first when we saw the thick glass separating us from the clerk at the desk to check in but I have to say our room was very clean but very small. A bit close for all 3 of us especially when we added the roll away for my 11 year old daughter. We walked... more

A total disaster in every way. Rude staff, small rooms, sheets don't fit, internet out of service, cold coffee machine ($2 for tiny cup) in lobby, (out of order one day), our reserved room with 2 beds not available on check-in. Worst hotel experience of a lifetime! more

I was very apprehensive having read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor about the neighborhood, but that industrial area is on the one side of the property we never accessed driving or walking to the subway. In fact, the 10 minute walk to the subway is through a beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood of brownstone homes with landscaped small yards that are... more

The rooms are small but we didn't need much...using it just for sleep and showering. Perfect for what we needed it for. Staff is very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. more
