What a charming peaceful place. We enjoyed our stay enormously. Easy access to the city from a tree lined street in a quiet Brooklyn neighborhood. Sue and Michael were fabulous. This is our new home away from home when we head to New York. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Very highly recommended.

Rugby Gardens is a peacefull and quiet place to stay to anyone visiting NYC. In the heart of Brooklyn, walking distance to local restaurants and subway if you want go anywhere in NYC. Sue provide us with a healthy breakfast every morning and plenty of recomendations and suggestions concerning places to visit and value restaurants. We certainly recomend this B&B... More

I had a lovely, easy, comfortable stay. It's a beautiful neighborhood, easy to get to, and easy to park. They are about to renovate the third floor bath to enlarge it. Sue was so helpful, giving me all sorts of information about services in the area. Very accommodating. I will surely return.

Stayed at a wonderful B&B in Brooklyn! Easy street parking, convenient location to train and parks, lots of greenery, VERY nice home that we felt comfortable and cozy in, beautiful spacious rooms with fireplaces(!), and tasty breakfast! Highly recommended!

Ditmas Park is a wonderful diverse Brooklyn neighborhood and Rugby Gardens, with its fun, eclectic, and funky style and character, captures the vibe beautifully. I was visiting my son who was having surgery, and Sue and Michael made sure I was comfortable, comforted, and supported. The house, a beautiful Victorian, has a neighborhood feel along with close access to the... More

My Girlfriend has family near this place and we stay here every time we visit. The house is an old Victorian which was easy to find on a quiet street and parking is not a problem. It's only a 5 min walk to the subway as well as many good restaurants and shops. The subway takes roughly 1/2 hour to... More

I enjoyed 3 nights at Rugby Gardens in the Ditmas Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is Sue and Mike's home, rooms on the third floor converted from family use to B and B. Breakfast was nutritious and plentiful, the proprietors amiable and helpful, and the rooms comfortable. Despite the family nature of this small operation, Sue took the trouble to... More

Rugby Gardens is another excellent choice for B&Bs in Brooklyn New York. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, although up several flights of stairs so not for the weak of knees. Mike and Sue (and son and daughter) are very nice, breakfast has excellent choices of cheeses, breads, fresh fruit and abundant coffee. With the proximity of the... More

We selected Rugby Gardens because it was right down the street from an old friend we were visiting. It was a great decision! Mike and Sue were very welcomng (so was Ruby). The room was comfortable and the breakfast very nice. They are close to the Q line which we took from Penn station... and left by way of Laguardia,... More

My wife and I spent three nights at Rugby Gardens over the Christmas holidays. Sue and Micheal are very welcoming people and made us feel right at home. Comfortable, attractive rooms, a fine breakfast, and as much advice on local venues as we wanted. Also (unlike other NYC neighborhoods we have stayed in), a street of friendly people, light traffic and... More
