When our two kids moved to Brooklyn from San Diego, we had to find a place to stay when visiting them. There weren't any hotels in the Park Slope area, but we did locate the Park Slope Inn via their website and happy we did. We have stayed there 3 times now and feel at home there. We have stayed... more

I felt like a resident of Park Slope coming and going at the Park Slope Inn. The host at the Park Slope Inn greeted us at the door when we arrived and quickly oriented us. The location is perfect - on a residential street adjacent to the shops on 5th Avenue. The owner was available if we needed something. The... more

We rented the garden apartment which had plenty of room for a couple and perhaps a couple with children but anymore it would be a tight fit. The is no phone in the room for local calls so someone coming in from europe will have a huge problem and a big cell phone bill. They offered finally a extenions phone... more

My parents stayed at the Park Slope in when they visited us for a week (from Australia) and it was PEFECT for their needs. They liked the option of making their own tea/coffee and having cereal in their room, and the many cafes right outside in the neighborhood. The owners, Marcie and Emma, were really pleasant and flexible to deal... more

We've stayed here twice. Enjoyed both stays. Neighborhood is a real neighborhood. Surprisingly quiet. Close to subway (F train to Manhattan). Nice room with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, TV with all those channels of no interest. Fresh fruit salad available at local grocers. Lots of restaurants nearby. Good walkers will find it easy to walk to Prospect Park, Botanical Gardens,... more

Don't hesitate to stay here -- it's really a great little place, and such an unbelievably good deal. Clean, friendly, cute, convenient to subways, restaurants, etc. I think it helps if you're famiiar with Brooklyn, but even those who aren't could have a great vacation here if you have a map and are feeling a little adventurous. Lovely block, close... more

We stayed for three nights. Room was large, with refrigerator and microwave and of course cable TV, clean, quiet, comfortable and pleasant. Good closet space. Just enough individuality and brownstone atmosphere to let us know we weren't in a hotel. No breakfast. No daily maid service. No phone. Great neighborhood for walking -- 10 minute walk to Prospect Park., 5... more

My partner and I recently stayed at the Inn for 3 nights. We are both very familiar with Manhattan and Brooklyn and this time decided to stay at the Inn to experience Park Slope and surrounds. There is nothing to say but PERFECT - it was the perfect base for a few days of exploring and lolling about in Brooklyn... more

We found the Inn's location ideal for our stay. It is around the corner from 5th Avenue which has a lot of restaurants and shops. If you like running or walking, Prospect Park is a short distance up the street. (For breakfast you can get a bagel across the street.) If I had one complaint, it was that the room... more

All of our rooms have individual a/c units which are installed as soon as the weather gets warm, usually in May. All rooms also have overhead ceiling fans and large windows.

My girlfriend and I spent a long weekend in New York and stayed at the Park Slope Inn. It was relatively inexpensive (for New York), and it was clean and comfortable. The best part was the location. It was very near some great restaurants and shopping; there were several subway stops within walking distance. Also, it was a pleasant walk... more
