This hotel is a good budget location for seeing the Gila National Monument and other local scenery. The management was friendly and thoughtful. There was a senior group there for a senior baseball tournament. The manager was careful to give us a location away from this (surprisingly) rowdy group. I don't know what is going on with Motel 6 but they must be really cutting back on their room amenities. It is down to the bare bones. They no longer give you complimentary shampoo, tissue, etc. I went to the front desk to ask for tissue and they didn't have any. We checked in and had to be moved... more

A brand new location in January 2006 and was still not listed in the Motel 6 property location guide at the time. Felt very deserted the one night we spent there. However it was a standard Motel 6 and was clean and comfortable. Basically what you would exect for this chain. more
