This was a wonderful experience. My wife and I stayed at the B&B for four nights.This is an extreemly clean and neat B&B in the heart of Gustavus. The rooms are large and comfortable. The B&B is within walking and bike riding distace of the town(?), local store,and the pier.The inn-keepers are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the entire area.... more

This was one of our best expereinces in Alaska! The innkeepers are really knowledgebale and helpful. They provided all the gear we needed for every adventure (parkas for the boat, rubber boots for hiking, etc). The breakfasts were amazing! The accomodations were really delightful. My wife and I stayed at the Blue Heron for three nights last summer. Deborah and Charlie are great hosts who have alot of information about Alaska in general. My stay at the Blue Heron was a wonderful experience. Charlie picked my wife and myself up from the airport and gave us a nice tour of Gustavus, one the most unspoiled places I've ever visited.
