We visited Gunflint Lodge this April. This visit was our 5th visit. Stayed in romantic cabin which was nice but the furniture is getting a little worn and uncomfortable. I noticed in other reviews that the beds are being replaced gradually, but I think this would be a must. Not very comfortable. Food at the lodge is great the help...

Deluxe lakeside fireplace cabins from 1 to 4 bedrooms, 1 to 4 bathrooms, and most have full kitchens, spa tubs, private sauna and washer/dryers. Gunflint is pet friendly. The main lodge has the Red Paddle restaurant, serving from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the summer (shorter hours in the winter). Winter activities include cross country skiing, snowshoeing and dog sledding. Daily guided naturalist activities include wolf calling, moose searches, northern light viewing, kids fishing fun with their own guide, day canoe paddles, lunch cookouts, candle making, sunset cruises and much more. The activities vary by the day and season. Special packages for families, honeymooners, fishermen, women's groups, military vets, and pet owners.
