Rockwood Lodge is a comfortable place to sit quietly and reflect. I think of the shoreline of Poplar Lake in front of the outfitter building when I want to relax. The canoes are always in top condition, and the staff are as friendly as can be. They pointed me to Lake Daniels, where I caught a 19 inch Lake Trout. The cabin was clean and well appointed, with hot showers, a warm bed, a cozy fireplace and was only 10 ft from the lake (cabin 9). I highly recommend this location to get away. more
