I booked two rooms for New Years Eve 2008 in March of 2008 (personally went to the hotel to book the rooms) and was told I could reserve specific rooms. We were staying a week in Gatlinburg and had already paid for the rooms for the entire week. We were supposed to get a room with two double beds. But they mixed up our reservations and no other rooms were available except a one double bed room. I was not about to sleep in the same bed with my parents.... more

Immediately upon entering the room, overwhelming smell of urine. We opened the window and turned on the cooling unit. By the time we returned from downtown, the smell had lightened, but still strong. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean. Bathroom was adequate. You get what you pay for. Close to strip was best part. more

This was, perhaps, the worst hotel I've stayed at in at least ten years. Our "no smoking" room reeked of odor and there were ashes in the carpet and the bathroom floor.
