A quiet stay at the Foxtrot away from the crowds on a busy holiday weekend. Wonderful breakfast with a bit of history/trivia on the area provided by the owners. They also made dinner reservations for us upon arrival. Mapped out our day of sightseeing and shopping. The room was very comfortable, with a fridge and Internet access. Don't plan on... more

Only four rooms available in this beautiful B & B. Everything is first class. Furnishings, food, paintings and service. The views from this excellent place are worth the drive up the hilly road. more

My husband and I stayed at The Foxtrot B&B for 1 week and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is wonderful and the breakfasts are even better. The owners Bob & Shirley Price make you feel at home with their gracious southern hospitality. Shirley cooks a 3 course "gourmet" breakfast that is spectacular. If you plan a trip to Gatlinburg, please... more

We stayed at the Foxtrot, and at the time, were very pleased with our stay. The location was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the owners were nice. We did feel that Bob had a tendency to ramble with no care for the intrest of the guest, just like the other reviews stated. We stayed in the Lacante Sunrise room,... more

The Foxtrot has one of the best views I have ever seen of the north side of the SMNP. That alone made the stay worth it. Our feelings about the B&B experience were somewhat mixed. Breakfast each day was very hearty and well prepared but the regimented time schedule could cause problems if you like to sleep late or if... more

Many of the other reviews for the Foxtrot contain accurate information. The rooms are fairly well-appointed. The beds are comfortable. The hosts, Shirley and Bob, are very nice people. The view of the Smokies from the deck is extraordinary. The location--up on a mountain, away from the dreadfully tacky main strip--is a plus (if you don't mind steep and windy... more

How one rates the service here will depend on one's expectations of service. I experienced Bob & Shirley's service as rigid, unfocused on the desires of their guests, and intrusive. Bob launched into a geography lecture at our arrival, giving us no opportunity to rest from our day's drive; he continued with a lecture at breakfast, barely tolerating guest interaction.... more

The Foxtrot Bed and Breakfast has much that makes it a great place to stay. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay extremely comfortable. The food is delicious, the ambience cozy and warm, the views are spectacular. There is a lovely dessert cart in the kitchen with cookies and cake, a tremendous selection of gourmet coffees and... more

The Foxtrot sits atop the mountain looking out over the Smoky Mountains, just what my friends and I needed to escape city life for a long weekend. A 3-course gourmet breakfast prepared by Chef Shirley was a great way to start the day. To go along with the wonderful breakfast, Bob entertained us with stories of the founding families of... more

My partner and I planned a 'last minute' weekend to Gatlinburg right after Christmas. Based on reviews and availability, we decided on the Foxtrot. The Foxtrot is a four-room bed and breakfast located in the mountains near (not IN) Gatlinburg. Gatliunburg was so busy and full of traffic that I found this to be a blessing. The owners, Bob &... more
