I must say that living in the smokies is wonderful enough.... but should you find yourself able to afford a stay at the Castle on the Green DO IT!!! My wife and I chose it as the setting for our wedding in March 2001. We rented the entire place for our closest friends (NINE bedrooms worth)! We stayed three nights and had the most wonderful time. Our friends came from all points across the USA and it was incredible to have a place large enough for us all to gather AND large enough to run off in the castle for private meetings as well. IN FACT we enjoyed it so much all of us returned for three days in March 2002, and today I am booking yet a third reunion at the castle for this same group of friends for this March! This place is truly special, once you visit it, you will return!!!
