My family and I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 15 years. Every time we come back, we are greeted by a friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. The hotel is very convenient to all that Gatlinburg has to offer. It is reasonably priced and we have never been disappointed and will continue to come back... more

I was skeptical at first about booking this hotel, but i am so glad i did. We had a king suite for $89.95. It had a king bed in a separate bedroom and sofa bed, a recliner, table and chairs for 4, a kitchen and private balcony. It also had a sink inside the bathroom along with a large vanity... more

It was incredibly dirrrrrrrtyyyyy and there were even bugs in the shower. The pool had a terrible film over the top of it and had not looked liked it had been cleaned since 1999. We stayed in a Rondette and it was filthy. The others I was on the trip with stayed in a room. Well it was roomy, but... more

The Mountain Heritage Inn used to be a nice place to stay. I think the problem is with the enployees. I was quoted a price with tax of $86.31. I paid this amount 2 months in advance. We were staying a total of 3 nights. I received a confirmation and I didn't see a note enclosed saying that I had... more

This motel is old but very clean. Good basic place to stay. Convenient location at a reasonable price. Nice pool area. Not fancy - take your own hair dryer and alarm clock. Bring your own coffee pot or obtain coffee in the am at the office. We enjoyed our stay - staff are very nice. more

We stayed at the Mountain Heitage Inn for five nights the week of Thanksgiving. While the room was very clean, the mattress was very uncomfortable and need to be changed. There were several cosmetic changes that would truly enhance the room. There was peeling paint on the door frame in the bathroom (which by the way is verrrrrry small), the... more

I was very uncomforable in this inn. Upon entering our room, there was a terrible, heavy, sweet aroma in our room. We thought that the cleaning staff had sprayed a talc on the rug. We opened the window, turned up the AC and left the room for a number of hours. The taste of the room stayed in my throat... more

We have visited Mountain Heritage numerous times and have always had good experiences, BUT this year I made reservations with the manager HERSELF and she was so rude and short tempered with me that I called back shortly after making the reservations and cancelled them. I explained that I was very upset with the way that she spoke to me.... more

We have stayed at the Mountain Heritage Inn at least once every year for the past 3 years. To me, it is one of Gatlinburg's best kept secrets. It is very reasonably priced, and has the down-home feel of staying in the Smokies. There are nice wooden chairs to sit in front of the main office, and its really nice... more
