Our stay at Buckberry Creek Lodge couln't have been better. We had Colonel Barkon's King Suite with wood burning fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and large balcony. It was quiet and peaceful and the view from our balcony was very pretty. The continental breakfast that was included each morning was wonderful. Overall, the property is beautiful and the service we received from... more

Just returned from a 5 night stay at The Lodge at Buckberry Creek. What a great little lodge with everything you can ask for and then some. Great staff, great food, great landscape and very, very clean rooms. Free continental breakfast in the beautiful dinning room each morning. You can also order more hearty food off their menu which we... more

We had an absolute wonderful experience from start to finish! Some of the other reviewers said the staff was snooty and indifferent. We found the complete opposite. Greeted warmly by staff upon our early arrival. Shown the property before being shown to our room. (gallery suite) Our suite exceeded our expectations. Nice personal touches, cozy, comfortable bedding, a fruit &... more

We planned on staying at this property, but then needed more room so we rented a cabin. However, we did have dinner here on our last night in Gatlinburg. This is a great restaurant and probably the best in Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge. You can tell that is a top facility, and the restaurant is too. You can eat on... more

We have just returned from this hotel, went as a family with two children aged 3 and 5. Stayed in a gallery suite which was plenty big- the children sharing a good quality sofa bed in the separate lounge. Rooms were really charming, nicely decorated with the touches you would expect like Molton Brown in the bathrooms, lovely fluffy bathrobes... more

This is a very nice hotel in a lovely setting. A couple of miles away from the shopping and amusement park nightmare that is Gatlinburg. The room had a completely stocked kitchen so you can cook and avoid Gatlinburg restaurants too. Only drawback was unfriendly staff. At check-in they were rather snooty - we asked to make a reservation for... more

My fiancee' and I are researching places to have a wedding. We stayed at Buckberry over the weekend. The lodge was full, and we hardly noticed any other people there. We felt very catered to, and in the evening we walked down to the pavilion to drink a bottle of wine. Afterwards one of the employees drove down to the... more

The great advantage of the Lodge at Buckberry Creek is its location, up above the horror that is downtown Gatlinburg (and the even more horrific Pidgeon Forge down the road). Campbell Lead Road is above the valley, and the Lodge sits along the road along with a number of other upscale properties, far removed from the hordes of tourists wandering... more
