Very convenient...BUT...the carpet in our room was old and had torn away from the doorway to both the outside and bathroom therefore leaving a nasty gap of about 1 inch at both places so you could see the pad, nasty dirt and dust. We stayed at the Smokey land last year and the location was great ,right smack in the dab of everything. The rooms were clean,but old. Parking was very cramped. The price was the going rate for staying right downtown Gatlinburg. more
