We loved Ndali Lodge and we'll definitely be going back. Beautiful setting, very comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Our only complaint, and it is minor, is the portions at dinner were a little small. Very good food, just not enough of it. There was fantastic bird-watching around the lodge, especially on the walk around the lake. We also enjoyed... more

We had a truly memorable but regretably short visit to this beautifully located lodge from the amazingly warm welcome from the owners to the brilliant service from the staff together with first class food and drink. Our driver also said that his accommodation and meals were the best he had experienced - he is looking forward to visiting again shortly... more

Amazing scenery, very relaxing, excellent host We stayed in Ndali Lodge for 5 nights back in April. The place was absolutely beautiful, with amazing views on the lakes. The room was comfortable. The host, Aubrey, was very entertaining and the other staff made us feel welcome. The food was excellent and more than enough,we very much enjoyed the fresh and... more

My mother and I stayed at Ndali Lodge for two nights in early May 2009 and were absolutely blown away by the beautiful setting and the friendly staff! We spent nearly two weeks in Uganda and this was by far our favorite place. more

This has got to be one of the most unique and enchanting hotels we've ever stayed at -- a sort of English country house set on the rim of an extinct volcano, looking out over a landscape of mountains and crater lakes that's straight out of Tolkein. Nothing to complain about at all -- in fact, we loved our three... more

I stayed here with my father and sister on a whirlwind tour of Uganda. Interestingly we nearly went somewhere else because of a previous poor report. I am so glad we came here! It is a very laid-back style lodge which will not suit those looking for bright lights and action. The setting is amazing. All the rooms were comfortable... more

Quite why one reviewer is complaining about no electricity in the middle of Africa is not clear - perhaps they should try Benidorm next. Anyway, we certainly loved Ndali. The hospitality is great - very friendly owner, who made sure we all had the best time possible. Good food, nice pool with views over the valley. We enjoyed walks around... more

Absolutely lovely in every way - the best views in Uganda, very comfortable, clean, good food, nice people... so peaceful and relaxing... Not sure why the complaints about the lack of electricity, isn't that part of the charm? It was for us, anyway. Had a nice stroll around the farm with Steven and the dogs (they were around but not... more

I stayed two nights in Ndali Lodge (Uganda) with my family in July 2008. I was very disappointed because Ndali Lodge is presented as an upmarket lodge while in reality it is inferior to all other lodges we stayed in during our stay in Uganda. It was the only lodge where there was no electricity at all. Other lodges have... more
