We went to Mikumi as part of a family Safari tour with Foxes and we can't say more than it was a five star service that made you feel like you were home from home in the middle of the African bush. Elephants and Zebras at the watering hole and children playing in the pool whilst watching the sunset at...

Location I loved. The tents were comfortable, raised on platforms on a side of a hill. The verandahs large with wonderful views. At the top if the hill the restaurant, bar and pool - stunning 360 degree view.
Food was simple but delicious.
We had children with us - we had to keep stressing to them to stay together and...

This place is great. Staff is very nice, beautiful location, you can just sit in the restaurant lounge and watch elephants, zebras, warthogs etc at the water hole. Food is delicious, and the accommodation is very rustic elegance. Definitely hope I can go back.
This was our first safari and a fantastic starter safari. From leaving Dar on the Safari Airlink who were professional and gave a great service to reaching the camp we had an amazing time. The host Karen was warm and welcoming and it felt like we were in her home rather than a camp. The tents were spacious and had...

My wife and I stayed in Foxes camp in August 2010 for 3 nights. We ended up deciding on Mikumi mainly due to other more famous parks such as Serengeti and Ngorongoro were overpriced and also we had limited time and we didn't want to lose time in Dar or Arusha due to flights in between.
Our guide form LEopard...

A wonderful camp, and what an experience! We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our ruby wedding anniversary treat from where we continued on to Zanzibar. Most of what needs to be said is already in print by others on this site. The camp is now almost completely refurbished after being devastated by a fire nearly 2 years...

The camp is situated around a small hill with excellent views of the surrounding plains. On top of the hill lies the restaurant hut and a small pool. The lodging consists of large semi-permanent tents on wooden platforms with palm-leaf roofs. Our tent consisted of a large front room with two double beds, a nice terrace overlooking the plains and...

What a wonderful camp! We stayed here for 3 nights as the first part of our honeymoon. The polite and friendly staff (local people) are encouraged to talk to guests so they are learning different languages to enable and encourage them to provide the superb service that we received. Within a day they knew our names and always called us...
